Trainer Profile - Jeff Lim
Jeff Lim,
a professional dance instructor, has been involved
in the teaching of dancing for more than 25 years.
His love for the instruction of dancing has kept him
actively involved at community clubs during the
weekends. During the weekday evenings, he also
conducts lessons at various organizations. These
include financial institutions, statutory boards and
private clubs such as Monetary Authority of
Singapore, Alexandra Hospital, Changi Airport
Recreation Club, Public Utilities Board Recreation
Club and the Faculty Club of the National University
of Singapore.
The
dances he teaches include:

American Line Dances

Social / Party Dances (e.g. Disco Rock, Cha-Cha,
Rock & Roll, Rhythm, Square Rumba)

Social Latin Dance (e.g. Merengue, Salsa,
Bachata & Lambada)

Modern Ballroom Dances (e.g. Waltz, Tango, Slow
Foxtrot, Quickstep & Viennese Waltz)
He also
choreographs dances for special occasions like
companies’ dinner & dance.

Doris Hui
Doris Hui
is a Certified Professional Trainer, a professional
dance instructor and a qualified coach in the
teaching of TESOL (Teaching of English to Speakers
of Other Languages). She is also Montessori-trained
and both her flagship programs - Montessori Phonics
& Dictionary Phonics are currently being taught by
her at many community clubs throughout Singapore.
She is also involved in teaching dancing.
Doris’
hobby of dancing has added an extra dimension to her
language coaching as this is not usually found with
other speech trainers.
Before
becoming a full-time trainer, Doris enjoyed a
successful career in the banking industry for 25
years. It was because of her strong speaking and
writing skills that she was hand-picked by the
President of the Bank to personally serve in his
office. It was those 10 years in his office that
her public relations skills were further nurtured.
Since
leaving the banking industry in the year 2000, she
is now doing and developing her first love –
TRAINING & COACHING.
